My
husband David and I have lived in Thurston County since 1966 and in the
City of Lacey since 1973. David, like myself, is retired from state
government. Our children, Beth and Brian, were both born and raised here
and graduated from North Thurston High School.
I
worked at Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife for over 22 years,
the last 6 years as the Responsible Official for the department under
the State Environmental Policy Act.
The last 4 years prior to my
retirement, I was the lead environmental planner for the Environmental
and Legal Strategies Section of the Washington Department of Natural
Resources, providing SEPA assistance to department staff to meet the
intent of the law under SEPA Rules.
I have a Master's
of Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College. I was
appointed to serve on the Thurston County Boundary Review Board in
2002 by former Governor Locke and more recently, Governor Gregoire.
